Optimal was engaged with HOK Toronto (Lead Architect) ans MSCEB as Main Structural Engineer for Structural Design of five hotels in Doha City Center. The Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Company invested heavily for the beautification and extension of the city center.
All five hotels are 200 m high with a helipad on top of each tower. Three of the two hotels are connected by a common podium, 8 levels high, with 3 basement to provide with ample parking spaces. This massive construction scheme was eventually wrapped up at 4.6 million square feet of area.
